I have so much pride in being African, again that is one of the reasons why I created my brand. Today, I want to highlight 5 African Entrepreneurs/ from the diaspora who honor our dear continent.

If you love fashion made by Africans, need positivity in your life, and love to laugh, go lose yourself on her Instagram page! You will find empowering words for your day-to-day life and a lot of African designers. By styling and wearing these creations she supports them back home and exposes them to us. Instead of buying from fast-fashion and mainstream brands, she really motivates us to invest in African brands. I have already started a list of brands I want to buy from. Join the movement #IWearAfrican

Nana Wax, does it ring a bell? I love the prints of the clothing line and I would love to go to one of her stores and buy me some beautiful dresses! I watched her interview on Investir en Afrique Youtube channel, her journey to create her brand is impressive and inspiring. If you love interior design too, she shows the ups and downs, and the amazing results of the homes she created in Abidjan.

I am so glad to add Sarah to the list, who is from Burkina Faso. It’s a great Instagram discovery. Being from Burkina myself it makes me so happy to find places to eat, local brands to buy from, and activities that we can do in Ouagadougou.

Wanna know about pop culture and African news? Paola Audrey is the one you need to follow. Her posts are so pertinent whether you are an entrepreneur, an African enthusiast, or a lover of nice clothing, well she talks about it all!

I discovered her Instagram page and the studio that she designed, it’s just wow. She is showcasing what is not usually seen in our countries. The studio is located in Bamako, Mali (West Africa). I would love to go enjoy the venue and have a photo shoot there. Her imagination and her talent are just amazing. #SheDidThat
